What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching what love can do in real time. I’ve seen my son fight his way back after a near fatal accident, and I’ve seen my other children grow in compassion and strength. It’s in the small moments, the progress, the connection. We’ve healed together, one day at a time, and that’s everything.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that real strength is quiet, consistent, and rooted in love. It’s showing up every day, even when it’s hard, and trusting that small moments matter. I’ve learned I can hold grief and hope at the same time, and that love doesn’t just support healing—it drives it.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use it to fund advanced treatments for my son, like MUSE stem cells and Cytotron therapy in Mexico, that could significantly impact his recovery. $20,000 would cover a major portion of that care and give him more chances to heal, grow, and regain what was lost.
