Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing my kids happy & smiling. It warms my heart when their hearts are happy. They sacrificed so much when I was going thru cancer treatment & a divorce. It was so hard on them. They took care of me in so many ways, & have been thru alot, so when something finally goes right, & makes them smile, that is the most rewarding part of being a mom...seeing my sons' happiness. Their eyes light up, and true happiness shines thru. They are my absolute heart & soul. They are my everything.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is to cherish every single moment,and make as many memories as possible. Time flies by way too fast, and kids grow in the blink of an eye. Make every second count. Don't put things off or make excuses. Live in the moment. Don't miss milestones, esp for things that can wait. You can't get back time, so make memories while they are happening. Chores can wait, house can be messy, dinner can be late, & jobs can be replaced, but they only get one childhood.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I was lucky enough to win $20k, I would first celebrate by getting each of my boys something special, because they truly made me the mom I am. I would also pay off some bills, and would really like to be able to maybe put a down payment on a place that we could finally call our own home, and also get the dogs that the boys have always wanted too.
