The most rewarding part of being a mom is being my children’s person, their safe place and biggest supporter. As a teacher, I value connecting with my students, but nothing compares to the genuine love of my own children. Coming home to my girls is everything. Knowing I brought them into this world is a miracle. Even through the challenges, motherhood is powerful, beautiful, and unbelievably fulfilling.

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that it’s not easy but it’s always worth it. It has taught me patience, unconditional love, and how to show up every single day, even when I’m exhausted. Doing everything I can just to see my children smile makes every challenge fade. Motherhood has pushed me, shaped me, and shown me a strength I never knew I had.

With $20,000, I would give back to my school by helping fund a new or upgraded playground so every child can enjoy recess and stay active. I know it wouldn’t just fill my heart, but so many other moms’ hearts seeing their children happy. I’d also use part to pay down student loans to ease financial stress and continue providing for my family. I’m so grateful for my education, it shaped me into the teacher and mom I am today.
