The most rewarding part is that my kids genuinely want to spend time with me. Growing up, I didn't feel that same connection with my parents, so seeing my children seek out my company is incredibly healing. Even when they're at my heels a little too much, it's a constant reminder that I've built a home where they feel loved and seen. Knowing they truly enjoy being around me is the ultimate validation.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has helped me discover the person I truly want to be. While every journey comes with its own set of challenges, navigating mine has pushed me to grow in ways I never thought possible. It has been a process of refinement. The difficulties haven't just tested me, they have shaped me into a version of myself that I didn't even know I was capable of becoming.

What would you do with $20,000?

I'm torn between being practical and being a dreamer. While part of me would love to clear our debt or even spoil myself for once, the heart of that money would go toward a down payment for our future homestead. My kids are constantly talking about "when we get our farm," and $20,000 would put us one step closer to putting down roots. I want to give them that land where they can learn to care for the earth and finally see that family dreams can become a reality.
