The most rewarding part of being a mom is being their safe place in the world. It’s holding their hand through the hardest days, wiping their tears , and still finding ways to make the smile. Watching my children stay full if love, light and courage even after everything they have faced, is the greatest gift I will ever know.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that strength doesn’t always look strong. Sometimes it looks like showing up with a breaking heart, putting one foot in front of the other and choosing to love anyway. It’s taught me to slow down, to cherish the smallest moments, and to never take a single day for granted.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use this opportunity to give back to the places that carried us through our hardest time. I would donate to Ronald McDonald House Boston Harbor, the Cancer Center at Mass General Boston, and pediatric Cancer Research, because no family should have to face the journey alone. Any remaining support would go toward rebuilding stability for my family after everything we have been through.
