The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your children grow into their own little people—seeing their personalities, hearing their thoughts, and knowing you played a role in shaping who they are. It’s in the quiet cuddles, the loud laughter, the milestones big and small, and the unconditional love that somehow makes even the hardest days worth it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that I can’t control everything—and I don’t have to. It’s shown me patience, resilience, and a deeper kind of love. Having a special needs child opened my eyes to a whole new world, helping me see life with more compassion, understanding, and gratitude for every small win. It’s taught me to let go of perfection, trust my instincts, and show up with grace, even on the hardest days.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I’d create meaningful experiences and security for my children—family trips, special memories, and opportunities to explore what they love. I’d also set aside savings for their future, invest in their growth, and make sure they feel supported, happy, and cared for every step of the way.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Super Mom, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
