The most rewarding part of being a mom Is to know that I defied the naysayers, followed my heart and adopted and raised three beautiful, talented and well deserving children. They would remind me of how I raised them sheltered, and taught them well. The reward for me is to know that they live as upstanding citizens and they are ambitious and determined to go after their dreams and to be successful. My last child is on the royal court at Howard University and will be an Educator.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me never separate yourself from your children as someone who was abandoned as a child and became a single mother at 17 no matter the circumstances I am a mother first. Children are precious gifts they become the future. Being a mother makes me feel like I am a mother to every child. Having children should be carefully planned and a woman should be mentally prepared. How you nurture them is an investment to how they would raise their own.
What would you do with $20,000?As a cosmetologist who dream of becoming an interior decorator, makeup and personal stylist. I would invest in marketing tools. I would give all of my kids money from it as a token and a reminder of how super mom I am and how we did well together.
