Being a mother brings me an indescribable joy, especially as I witness my children grow into their unique selves. It’s incredibly fulfilling to guide them along the right path, supporting their choices as they navigate life. I often reflect on how these remarkable individuals were once nurtured within me, and now I have the privilege of watching them blossom. Knowing that my boys will one day become responsible, respectful men perhaps even husbands and fathers fills my heart with pride.

Motherhood has imparted one profound lesson: the value of patience. From soothing a fussy baby and changing countless diapers to breastfeeding and selecting the perfect baby food, each stage has demanded resilience. Whether navigating the challenges of the “terrible twos,” the boundless energy of five year olds, the mood swings of preteens, or the grouchiness of teenagers, patience has been my steadfast companion. I’ve learned to take deep breaths, hold them and give plenty of hugs and kisses.

As a breast cancer survivor, winning the $20,000 would allow me to pay off all my medical bills and indulge in a well deserved self care day. I envision this special day starting with a relaxing stay in a beautiful hotel room, followed by a rejuvenating spa experience that includes a soothing massage, a manicure, and a pedicure. To cap it all off, I would enjoy a delightful dinner paired with a chilled glass of wine, celebrating my journey and embracing this new chapter of life.
