When my son does something new that the doctors said would never happen and watching my daughter graduate from cosmetology school, my 12 year bonus child I love to watch her go from cheer to softball. My two older kids lost an amazing father. I’m grateful that I get to be a bonus mom to an amazing little girl.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Love is both letting go and holding on at the same time. I’ve learned that real love isn’t just protecting your kids from the world, but also preparing them to face it, even when it’s hard for you. With one child, that’s meant holding on being their advocate, their strength, their constant support when they need you most. With the other two, it’s meant letting go trusting that what you’ve poured into them is enough as they step into their own life.
What would you do with $20,000?I would love to go back to school. I have been in the medical field since 16, I would love to be able to go to nursing school. $20,000 would help so much.
