Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of motherhood for me has been raising my amazing childreen that have good morals, values and the kindhearted young adults they've grown up to be and to accept others for who they are not for what they have. They dont let lifes obstacles defeat them. When my kids were in elem. school they put a penny drive together for the flood victims in the southern states and raised over $300 in one week to donate to the red cross. They've always been full of gestures of this nature!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

You grow as a parent as your child grows. The hardest lesson I learned was the day they moved out on their own and knowing I taught them well and having confidence in myself that I did a good job as their mother. Being a single mother isn't easy and to be present at every moment to teach both what a mother and father needed to. I had back and brain surgery and 6 seizure conditions I learned that no matter what we are always much stronger than we realize and to keep pushing forward!

What would you do with $20,000?

If I was the lucky winner I'd put some into a college savings account for my granddaughter and give my kids a large portion and donate some for medicial research that effects me personally.
