I’m the caregiver to my son who has Crohn’s disease and I work full time , run a household and going back to school.
We would like to thank you for supporting Cristine Rodia in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
Rewarding part of mother hood is seeing that I instilled values into my children just to be kind humans. Knowing how loving and caring and giving my children have become is the most rewarding part of being a mom. Knowing that I showed up and showed how to love through God who gives me strength and I have passed these parts of me in my children.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Patience’s and forgiveness. Also to put my oxygen mask on first. Motherhood taught me if I’m okay my children are going to be okay . Taking care of my mental health and physical health by caring for myself I have been able to care for my children by giving them all that they deserve to thrive.
What would you do with $20,000?I would buy a car because we don’t have one so I can get to work and drive my son to his infusion appointments that he has every 4 weeks. I would pay my past due electric bill and water bill and utilities. Buy any necessities for my family.
