Getting to experience life through my son’s eyes. He’s always so excited to try something new and it’s the biggest reward to be the one who witnesses him taking it all in. He meets new experiences without any fear and only enthusiasm.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?To slow down. As a single mom, and as a mom to a very young child while going back to school, I was constantly on the go, trying to check the next to-do off my list in order to succeed. Since graduating a year ago, I’ve been confronted with how quickly the years go by, and I want to be present for every moment.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 I would want to take my son to see so much more of the world. I’ve never been off the continent and I feel like I’m missing out on so much of what the world has to offer. I would love the opportunity to share traveling to new countries with him and learning about how others live and experiencing nature around the world.
