Watching your kids grow into who they’re meant to be, knowing your love, guidance, and experiences helped shape that journey. It’s watching them discover who they are, what they love, and what excites them. It’s walking beside them through challenges, seeing their strength build, and watching them evolve. Most of all, it’s witnessing them grow into children of God, grounded in faith, love, and purpose.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That no matter how carefully you plan, life will change—and often the unexpected moments become the most meaningful. It’s also shown me a love so deep that seeing your kids hurt or sad can break your heart, and every instinct in you wants to fix it and make everything better. But in those moments, you learn to guide, support, and trust that even the hard times are shaping them into who they’re meant to be.
What would you do with $20,000?I’d first invest an portion for each of my kids—and the grandbaby on the way—it is investing in them and their future. Then the rest would be for us to plan our dream family trip. Once we choose the destination, everyone would get to pick something special for us all to do or see. It would be our version of a “Yes Day” vacation—full of fun, creating memories, and spending time together.
