Being Super Lane’s mom is the most meaningful role in my life. Caring for him has given me purpose, strength, and a deep appreciation for every small milestone. I am his advocate, protector, and source of comfort, ensuring he is safe and understood. While the responsibility is great, it is also a privilege. Lane has shaped who I am and filled my life with a love and meaning that continues to grow every day.

Motherhood has taught me that no one does this alone, you are only as strong as the team you build around your child. As a single medical mom, that truth is everything. Lane's care and quality of life depend on the people who stand beside us. And in the moments when fear feels bigger than hope, someone on our team carries it for me, until I can hold it again. That shared strength doesn’t just help us survive, it allows Lane and I to truly thrive.

It would be life-changing for our family. It would allow me to purchase a mom-van equipped to safely and efficiently transport Lane in his wheelchair to school, therapies, essential medical appointments, and to social recreation. This would support him with more ease as he continues to grow and thrive. Currently, I disassemble and assemble his wheelchair everywhere we go which does not allow for smooth transitions for Lane, which is critical to his well-being.
