Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I love watching how much my son changes and each day is something new! Learning new skills like belly laughing, rolling over, trying new foods and so much more is incredible. Getting to see the world through his eyes for the first time is a gift that I’ll never take for granted. I also love the way he lights up when he hears my voice. There’s something special about being someone’s whole world.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me to slow down and savor the little moments. After struggling with PPD and PPA in the early weeks, I grieved the memories I missed. Now I’ve learned to go with the flow, breathe, and focus on what matters most. A clean, fed baby and a clean, fed mom are enough. Motherhood has also taught me to trust myself, extend grace, and appreciate every stage.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won $20k, we’d put some money into our son’s 529 plan to help secure his future, and would pay off medical bills that still linger from pregnancy and postpartum. We hope to have another baby soon, so we’d save for a new crib, baby gear, and everything that makes those early months easier. We also just bought our first family home, and this would help us transform the yard, add furniture, and create a warm, welcoming space where our family can grow and create memories together.
