What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom for me is seeing my kids keep going—even when things are hard. Watching their strength, their resilience, and their ability to smile through challenges reminds me why I fight so hard every day. It’s in the small moments—when they trust me to advocate for them, when they still find joy despite their diseases. Knowing they feel deeply loved, understood, and never alone… that’s everything to me. who they are becoming—strong, compassionate, and brave

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me strength doesn’t always look like pushing harder,it often looks like slowing down, showing up anyway, & loving through the hard moments. I’ve learned that I can’t control everything, but I can control how deeply I love, how fiercely I advocate, & how present I choose to be. Motherhood has taught me patience I didn’t know I had, resilience I didn’t know I needed, & a kind of unconditional love that changes everything. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about being there

What would you do with $20,000?

start with medical bills: catching up on what’s piled up so we can focus more on their care & less on the stress. Then I’d put it toward making our home truly accessible—wheelchair-friendly spaces, safer layouts, & upgrades that give them more independence & comfort every single day. Anything left would go toward the extras that matter just as much: therapies, equipment, & creating moments of normalcy and joy for them.it would be relief, support, and a way to give them a better life
