I'm a Mom and my daughter makes me SUPER. She is a blessing and she came at a perfect time, when I needed her the most.
We would like to thank you for supporting Christine Trisel in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
She transformed the way I see & experience life, bringing a sense of clarity, purpose, and joy I didn’t know I was missing. From the very beginning, hearing her first heartbeat, seeing her on the ultrasound, and feeling her first tiny kicks, every moment felt meaningful and unforgettable. When I finally met her, everything changed. I understood a deeper kind of love, one that is unconditional and overwhelming in the most beautiful way. Even the smallest things she does, like a smirk or a giggle.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Life is a bond between a mother and her child; strong, resilient, beautiful, and magical. Becoming a mom brings your heart and mind into focus. It doesn’t matter who you were or even who you are—it matters that you are present. That you step away from the noise of the world, the stress, and the expectations, and meet your child where they are. To join them in their world, even for a moment, that’s where the real connection lives.
What would you do with $20,000?My daughter has a deep love for animals and wildlife, so we would spend the money on: fun and her future. Part of it is setting aside savings for her college tuition, supporting her dream of working in animal rescue and making a difference in the lives of animals. The other part is creating unforgettable memories, like a trip to the Caribbean, where she can explore wildlife and experience the joy of seeing her favorite animals up close.
