Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

No matter how hard it gets, those little mini humans just love you and depend on you no matter what. I became a stepmother to a 1.5yr old then a mom of 2, I was always so worried about doing the wrong thing or not being good enough, and my parents taught me that "bad parents don't worry about being bad parents" which I fully believe, but my kids never think I'm a bad mom. They are basically obsessed with me and how could I ever get upset at that. They are my reason to live.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest thing it taught me was actually how amazing my own parents were. It let me see life through their eyes. Raising kids kindly, feeding them, the sick days, driving us to school instead of taking the bus just to get a few extra minutes with us in the day. A bunch of little things that made a difference in our relationship but also shaped who we are. I try my best to be even half as good as the parents I have and admire.It gave me an amazing new respect for my own parents that I treasure

What would you do with $20,000?

We have been through so much the last 2 years. My husband had acute kidney failure and almost died, I went through Cancer treatment and just had my last surgery. Then finding out my dad has cancer and beginning treatment. My parents are so involved as grandparents we really depend on them so I would just use that money for my family.To take the financial burden of all the medical trauma we've had recently and just enjoy it with my family and my parents.Treat them, treat my kids,they deserve it!
