I just love watching my two boys grow into their own personalities and learn new things. They get so excited about the smallest things and I try to take time to appreciate that as an adult. It’s also pretty great to see their sweet side with each other, it makes me feel like we are doing an ok job at raising good humans.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Patience. Patience. Patience. I’m a fairly patient person, aside from what my husband says, but I have learned to not interrupt and just let them go through it even if whatever it is is not on my timeline.
What would you do with $20,000?I would invest! Learning more about finances this past year has showed me the amazing opportunities investing can do. That includes investing in our retirement to be with our kids more, investing in their futures, and teaching my kids the importance of investing so they come into adulthood prepared. I want to teach them that money isn’t scary, it can just be misused and misunderstood. Something I wish I had learned earlier in my life.
