What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The milestones and helping my baby through it! Working on her development everyday through play, feeding, reading, routine, etc. Seeing her expressions, smiles, quirks that shape her personality as she continues to grow! You allow yourself to learn and grow through being a mom and of course we want to do the best we can always for our child and family. Gives us meaning and purpose. To love and be loved.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Being a mom has given me opportunities to connect deeper with other moms, family and friends more. It can be an isolating time, and it does not need to be that way. It has taught me patience, to be present with family and friends and to ask for help when things get difficult. Allowing to feel certain emotions and communicate it. There should be no judgement on how mothers raise their children. Everyone has different needs and whatever is best for their families is all that matters.

What would you do with $20,000?

Growing up, my family came to the US as refugees and did not know how to invest in their children. My family worked hard and did their best living paycheck to paycheck giving us the basics. I worked multiple part time jobs most of my life and never felt like I could have a "career". I don't have much knowledge in how to invest and would love to learn how to for my child, so she doesn't have to work to make ends meet like how me and my family did. I just want her to feel secure.
