The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your children develop strength, courage, resilience, hope and love through the most challenging times. Being their safe place, their advocate, and their constant through it all, there is nothing more meaningful than that.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Having kids has changed my life in ways I never knew were possible. I have basically grown up with my kids. They have taught me what unconditional love truly means, reshaped my priorities, and revealed a strength in me I didn’t know I had. Because of them, I grew into a deeper and more purpose-driven version of myself living with intention in every choice, knowing my life was no longer just my own.
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay off debt accumulated during my son’s illness over the past 3 years. I would donate to CHEO’s oncology department, bless a family with funds to ease their financial burden, and surprise my husband with a trip to visit his son who lives in another country.
