I have been able to give 2 beautiful girls a loving stable home. I cried when they both came to me separately and said that they both finally felt safe and loved for the first time and that they always slept with shoes on and coats on because with the other family they were always running in middle of the night. And now they know they get to wake up in their own bed knowing they are safe loved and never have to worry about anything but just being a kid. That’s rewarding enough for me.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I don’t just have be biologically linked to be a mother. I can show these 2 amazing girls what a great mother looks like. And I would not change a thing about my journey of being a mother to them.
What would you do with $20,000?I would find a home that suits our needs to continue our journey as a family. Or even spend it on things for our apartment we have now. Just so that it might be a little more comfortable for them.
