The most rewarding part is being a mom. So many woman do not have the pleasure of knowing the experience, the heart ache, and the honor of being called mom. I do not take my role as a mother lightly. I’m not a perfect mother, but I’ve always put my whole heart into it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson of motherhood is that we spend our whole existence to prepare our children to fly. We teach our children independence and self sufficiency. We teach our children our biggest heartache while at the same time preparing them for our proudest moment. The moment they are strong enough to leave the nest.
What would you do with $20,000?Wow! $20,000 would help me pay off a few bills I accumulated while helping my oldest get through the toughest time in their life. On May 8th my oldest graduates with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. I’m so unbelievably proud that they have chosen to turn their darkest moment into helping others. I also want to take a portion of that money to celebrate their accomplishment. I’m also hoping that celebration could be used as an invitation to start healing the relationship we have with my youngest.
