I love the closeness, the unwavering love that our family shares. I am blessed beyond understanding for the gift of twin girls that are 32 yrs old. I am able to spend time with my three grand babies, and the fourth is on the way. It's most rewarding to observe both of my girls be a "mom". I can hear my phenomenal grandmother's voice, the lessons she taught me, gravitating from her down to my children. That is so rewarding in itself. Watching your children flourish in the world is priceless.

Motherhood has taught me that life is tough, sometimes it seems unfair. It's all about standing together, even when your legs feel like Jello. Never give up on your children, they are your "reason" to breathe when you don't know how to. I think that becoming a MOM makes you stronger than you ever dreamed you could be. It has taught me unconditional love, grace, understanding, patience, tolerance, and proud feeling of accomplishment. It has taught me that I always "belong" to a winning team.

$20,000 is crazy to even imagine. First, plan monthly outings with my family. I would put some in a savings, so that I could donate to our local school lunch program weekly. I watch struggling mothers drop of their children off every morning. I think about those children. What if the lunch they eat, is all they get that day? I find comfort knowing that they fill their tummy and minds at the same time. Being a MOM isn't just to the ones we birth; it's a state of mind that we share with others.
