What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is the love that I receive from my kids who are now 25, 21, and 18. My kids have always been the joy in my life. When they were little, I loved the look of wonder on their faces when I could teach them something new. Now they are older, they know that they can come to me for anything, now matter what it is and they know I will support them 100% , without question. The unconditional love is my biggest reward.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson that motherhood has taught me is that things are ever changing and I can always learn something new. Now that my kids are older , they have opened my eyes to different views on things. I have learned that my way of thinking isn’t the only way of thinking. I get taught lessons on a daily basis, just from being a mother. I taught my kids to always think for themselves and not follow the status quo, in that I also realized that it opened me up to others way of thinking.

What would you do with $20,000?

My husband had emergency spinal cord surgery a little over a year ago and was out of work for 8 months. So I would use $20,000 to catch up bills, as well as pay off small debt so that we could live comfortably and without worrying about necessities like we do now. It would be such a blessing to be able to pay my bills on time and not worry about basics needs such as food, water, and a roof over our heads.
