Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being a mom is rewarding in a category all by itself. Its being true to myself first because if I'm not being 100 percent committed to being a mother to my kids, then who am I as a woman and a mother. My children are my life and they bring out the best parts of me. Im nothing without them.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

First and foremost. I have learned to lean on patience and understanding. Everyday is challenging when you are a mother. You will have good days along with awhole lot of bads ones to follow. Im not perfect, I've made many mistakes while being a mother. There's been plenty of emotionally years in my life when I had to step back and realize that I'm am doing my best to be the best mother and parent I can be for my children. We are always there for each other thru love and support.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would first purchase me a car because even though my daughter and her wife own there own vehicles. They make sure that everyday I get to work and back home after every shift working @ the Nursing Homes. Times are very hard, not just for me, but also for other single moms trying to manage being a mom and still working hard at 63 years old to take care of their children. I believe in my heart I deserve this opportunity and this blessing. Oh and yes, some money will go towards outstanding bills.
