This is also the hardest, for every phase they enter, it is goodbye to the littler version of themselves. Seeing how they choose to be kind, strong, brave, and caring for others is the most heart warming experience.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is to stay in the present. I love yoga and in my younger years an instructor told us to always "be where your feet are". I try to always keep this in the forefront of my thoughts as a Mom and Wife. Life is unexpected is ways that are heavy and incredibly uplifting. Cherishing the now helps me to remain grateful and my hope is that my children witness this and adapt this mentality into their own lives as the grow and form themselves.
What would you do with $20,000?I would give it to my sister in law. She recently loss her husband suddenly. They have 2 little girls (my neices). It would help to give her and the girls a little more financial peace.
