I am a bio mom, surrogate mom & foster mom. I have created families in many ways. I was a special agent and now am a fertility law paralegal
We would like to thank you for supporting Casey Oakley in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
Motherhood is rewarding because you get to watch your children make mistakes, learn, and carry those lessons for life. The way you guide them shapes how they’ll handle future challenges. Watching my biological and foster children build bonds proves that love, not blood, makes a family is one of the most beautiful rewards.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that family isn’t defined by biology, but by the patience, grace, and unconditional love it takes to help a child grow; mistakes, milestones, and all. It’s shown that guiding them through life teaches me just as much about myself as it does about the world around them. I'm constantly unlocking the next level of Casey!
What would you do with $20,000?$20,000 would go a long way for our family! I don’t want to limit the possibilities of what that kind of gift could mean for us. We could add a bathroom to our home, making it possible to welcome more children in need, and set money aside to support us as we navigate the adoption process. Both would make a tremendous difference in our family’s journey.
