Even though I am married to their Dad, he is basically at work all the time. For 10 years we didn't live around family. So it was me.
We would like to thank you for supporting Carrie Dean in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
I looked forward to teaching and guiding my children to thrive and possibly having a better live than both my husband and I did. My husband parents were divorced and neither really made a positive impact on his life. My father died when I was 15 and my mother & I never really got along. Today I enjoy seeing them suceed in their activities and jobs. Every employer that all 3 of my kids have had and still do have always state they wish they could clone them.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?In spending so much time with my kids, I have learned each of them is different and learned ways to help them each individually. For example, I could not tell me son to go clean his room and he would do it. However, I could say pick up the cars in your room, or go get all your dirty laundry, and he would do that.
What would you do with $20,000?Definitely take a relaxing vacation with our family of 5. Hopefully one we do need to drive to. Pay down some debt with the left over.
