The most rewarding part of being a mom for me, is to be able to see the world through my son’s eyes. Teaching them the beauty, wonder, and magic of everything. I love raising these boys to be able to see bright side, find the beauty in nature and people, and experience the magic that everyday truly has to offer. It helps me feel peace knowing my boys will be a shining light in every moment they experience.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has painstakingly taught me to find my patience and understanding. There is a reason for every meltdown, tear, and outburst. It has taught to take a deep breath, find my kindness and have patience. It takes a lot of control to be able to sit with a toddler that is having a hard time, maintaining boundaries while still being a safe place for them.
What would you do with $20,000?My plan with the $20,000 would be to split it between the boys and create an IRA or college fund for them to have access when they are older. We all know the struggle of having financial security, having priorities that don’t allow for other things, having time taken away from our family to earn an income. My hope is to make that easier for my boys, and allow them to have space to chase their dreams when finances wouldn’t otherwise allow.
