Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being a mom is the greatest gift I’ve ever been given. The most rewarding part is watching my daughter grow into a kind, joyful, and faith-filled person. Guiding her to put God first, while seeing her thrive in school, friendships, and activities, fills my heart daily. Her love, laughter, and sweet spirit remind me I get to shape something truly meaningful—and that’s a blessing I’ll never take for granted.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me to grow in ways I never expected—to be more present, more patient, and more intentional in how I live and love. It’s taught me to give myself grace, lead by example, and show up with discipline and purpose every day. Most of all, it’s deepened my love and perspective on what truly matters. It’s the greatest blessing and the most life-changing journey I’ve ever experienced.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would first give 10% to my church as a reflection of my faith. The rest would go to my mom, who has poured her entire life into her children and is now widowed and facing financial challenges. She is the definition of a selfless, incredible mother. Being able to give back to her—to bring her comfort, joy, and freedom—would mean everything. It would be my way of honoring the love she’s given so freely.
