I love my two sons with my entire soul. Being a mom is what makes me my best self, my most happy self, and gives me purpose in life.

One of the most rewarding parts of being a mom is to watch them grow and evolve into their own unique selves. But perhaps the more rewarding part is to see them make good decisions and show you that you’ve made a positive impact on them. My sons have both come home recently and told me about standing up to bullies and doing the right things. I have never felt so full of joy and pride. I want to contribute to sending polite, loving, and accepting young men into our world.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The thing I’ve learned the most is to never say never. Dont judge anyone. I used to say I would never do certain things as a mother but boy does life prove you wrong. Everyone is different. We shouldn’t judge any mother and we should give them support and show compassion. The journey of motherhood is a most unpredictable one. There is no manual and this is a selfless job. I’ve learned to show kindness and compassion to all walks of life. My kids have also shown me how strong I am. Go moms!
What would you do with $20,000?My son and I have a dream to open a restaurant where some proceeds would go to moms and kids in need. We want to call it The Red Dock. We would love to start a savings for us to achieve this. I would also pay off some debt with the rest so that I can start saving for college for them!
