My proudest moments are when they demonstrate kindness towards others when no one is watching, when they do the right thing in moments where it would be easy to take a different path.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?My children gave me a purpose and filled a whole in my life. I was missing something in my life and struggling to figure out my purpose for being, when a phone call from DCFS saying there was a child who was entering foster care and my name had been provided by the mother as someone who they would want to take care of him in their absence. I said yes and a few short days later I was stepping into a NICU learning how to care for a medically fragile baby and learned exactly what had been missing
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 I could finally afford to take my kids on a real family vacation and replace some of the savings I spent while adopting them. The boys would love to do Disney and Universal Studios.
