I work full time on limited sleep, but I show up every day, loving deeply, protecting fiercely, creating joy, & never giving up on my child.
We would like to thank you for supporting Brittney Lamendola in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
Being a mom isn’t just one big moment, it’s a thousand tiny ones. It’s the way your child looks at you like you’re their whole world. It’s the tiny hands reaching for you, the “mama” that means everything, and the quiet moments when they feel safest in your arms. Even on the hardest days, the most rewarding part is knowing you are their home, their comfort, and the heart they carry with them as they grow.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that I can’t control everything—and that’s okay. It’s shown me patience I didn’t know I had, and a love that’s deeper than anything I’ve ever felt. It’s taught me to slow down, be present, and cherish the small moments, because they pass so quickly. Most of all, it’s taught me that being enough isn’t about being perfect—it’s about showing up with love every single day.
What would you do with $20,000?I’d put half into my baby’s Edward Jones account to invest in her future, and use the other half to help cover the medical expenses from our in vitro fertilization journey—because bringing her into the world was priceless, even if it came with a cost.
