Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching your children use the manners you teach them, control the emotions you help them control and share the love we teach them to share. When you see a tiny human using the morals you teach, it is so rewarding. It is the first step to raising an adult with good morals and a strong foundation. The hugs that are shared, the laughs you hear and the things I see them learn are always the most rewarding moments as a mom.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Patience with a capital P. With each and every day of motherhood, you learn patience. You change your ways, you maneuver your tactics and you come up with all the redirection ideas you can. You learn how to calm each of your children and what level of patience they need. You learn how to keep yourself calm while calming them. And you learn how to calm yourself in situations you never saw coming.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 I would pay off a few debts so my husband isn’t working so hard away from his family, I would put some in to each of my children’s college funds, and I would save the rest for a rainy day or family vacation. We love to show our children hard work creates reward, but I want to make sure they are taken care of no matter what.
