Watching my daughter become herself — not who the world wants her to be, but fully, unapologetically her. As a solo mom, every breakthrough is ours alone. When she asks a question that stops me cold, or lights up over her heritage, I know: I didn’t just raise a child. I’m raising a thinker, a leader, a girl who knows her roots and trusts her mind.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood taught me that connection is everything. That children don’t learn from people who correct them — they learn from people who see them. Being Azja’s mom cracked me open and rebuilt me around what actually matters: presence, patience, and the courage to protect her spirit even when the world wants to sand it down

What would you do with $20,000?

The $20,000 would fuel my daughter’s future — funding the entrepreneurship education of a 7-year-old who already moves her allowance into her ‘invest’ folder to watch her worker bees grow. She wants to run companies before she’s a teen, and I am building that path. Then: Harry Potter World before she turns 8, because some magic has an expiration date. And Morocco — to stand in the land her family fled, so she knows exactly who she is.
