The most rewarding part of being a mom; is that smile and hug at the end of the day when I go to pick him up after school or daycare. It’s all the little moments and all of the big moments put together that encapsulate being a mom. The way that he gets excited after he’s learned something, the way he smiles when he realizes I finally understand what he’s been trying to tell me with his new words, the way he looks at me like I’m the only person that matters in his world, and with every “mama”.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Literally, nothing else matters, except for my child’s happiness and health. If I ever choose something else over those two things I have failed as a parent.
What would you do with $20,000?I would put a quarter of it away immediately into my child’s RESP. I would use a half of it to pay debt. And last quarter I would use to cover more time off of work so that I can spend it with my family.
