Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is two fold. I love to watch my babies grow, become independent and see who they are becoming as their own little person. It’s so fun to watch them learn new things. At the same time-your heart breaks a little every time they hit a new milestone because you know they will never be that little again. Motherhood has a crazy way of breaking your heart while filling it with more love than you ever thought possible all at the same time. It’s beautiful.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson that I’ve learned being a Mom is to slow down. You hear everyone say “don’t blink”, but it truly does happen that fast. I’ve learned that the little day to day moments that we don’t even realize are happening are actually the big moments that end up being your favorite to look back on. As a mom you want to make these core memories that are picture perfect but life is chaotic, especially with babies and that’s actually what makes it so fun and so memorable.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won the $20,000, I would bring my husband home from his 9-5 job so we can start up the business we have always wanted to own. My kids constantly beg for their Daddy to not have to go to work and this money would actually make this possible. We would be able to spend more time together as a family while we run our own business remotely. It would be a dream come true for our entire family!
