What makes me a super Mom is that I am flawed but I show up with resilient love, finding joy in the chaos and strength in their achievements
We would like to thank you for supporting Bernadette Behm in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my children happy. Whether it’s in their relationships, career choices, lifestyle, or health, if they are happy, I am happy. Someone once said a mother is only as happy as her most unhappy child, and I truly believe that. Their wellbeing is deeply tied to my own, and nothing matters more to me than their joy, peace, growth, and overall happiness in life each and every day.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that love is both powerful and humbling. It has shown me the importance of patience, resilience, and letting go of perfection. Every day brings new lessons in understanding, empathy, and growth. It has taught me to slow down, appreciate small moments, and see the world through my children’s eyes. Motherhood continues to shape me, reminding me to lead with compassion for my children and for myself each day.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I would take my family to Ireland to honor my late father, who was Irish. After his recent passing, this journey would mean everything—showing my children where their grandfather grew up, sharing his stories, and walking the places he once knew. We would also meet their relatives, including cousins and an aunt, strengthening family bonds. This trip would help us heal, reconnect with our roots, and create lasting memories together.
