I’m a first time mom of an infant son and a working mom. It’s underrated how hard it is to balance the things that come with both jobs!

Breastfeeding sticks out as one of the most rewarding things about my motherhood, in a way I never could have imagined. Breastfeeding has brought me so much joy. I had no expectations going into it and didn’t think I’d be able to keep it up, especially working full time. But all the energy I have put into it has been worth it and it’s amazingly rewarding to watch my son grow and thrive because of it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me the importance of presence. It is so easy to get swept up in anxieties and parenting trends, but time moves so fast with my child and I’ll never get today back. Focusing on the little things and never taking them for granted has been such a big lesson. It seems like just yesterday I was holding my baby for the first time, and now he’s eating solids and is so mobile. I don’t want to blink and miss anything!
What would you do with $20,000?$20,000 would change my life. I have so many dreams for my family and the money would help make them come true. “Home” is one of the most important things to me and I want to be a first generation homeowner to help create stability and build the best home I can for my kids. This money would make a huge difference in that goal for us.
