Watching my kids grow up and become the best, most authentic versions of themselves. Seeing them thrive in whatever they choose do, whether that is sports, learning a new subject, or finding a new hobby makes me feel so full as a mom. Even when they don’t succeed immediately, and then I get to see them dust themselves off and remember how strong and brave and smart they are and try again.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?To be able to roll with the punches and not stress the small things. As a mom, life often doesn’t work out according to plan. I used to REALLY stress out over everything, and now as a mom, I’m able to relax and model what I want my kids to learn from me. Accidents happen, spills happen, changes in plans happen. It’s all about how you come back from the setback or respond to the inconvenience. That’s what truly matters.
What would you do with $20,000?My boyfriend and I would take our 3 kids on vacation, with our ex-spouses (and co-parents)! We have a really awesome blended family. I’m so grateful for the relationship we all share, and the healthy relationships we are showing our children. The kids have been dying to “go on an airplane”. So, to be able to make that dream come true for them as well as bring their other parents with us would be an absolute dream.
