The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my daughter become who she’s meant to be. I love seeing her kindness show up in the way she cares about people and how naturally she wants to help. I don’t take it for granted that I get to guide her heart, protect her, and pour love into her every day. Even when it’s hard, I remind myself I’m raising someone who will move through the world with compassion and strength, and that means everything to me.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I’ve learned that I don’t have to be perfect to be a good mom. What matters is that I keep showing up for my daughter as authentically as possible. Motherhood has taught me to be present on purpose, to give myself grace when things aren’t perfect, and to keep going even on the hard days.
What would you do with $20,000?It would truly be a huge blessing. I would first take my daughter to Disney. She’s never been and I can’t afford it. Secondly I’d pay down what I have left on a car loan. Thirdly I’d save the rest just in case if emergency.
