I work as a BCBA 40 hours a week, sometimes late night. But, I still never miss events, time with my kids or homemade meals!

Seeing my kids grow and smile! My son who was nonverbal autistic with high intensity behaviors, is now talking nonstop and going to graduate high school. He is the reason I became a BCBA, I didn’t have support to help him so I am proud of what we have accomplished. My daughter is so responsible, she encompasses joy and compassion. I feel like as a mother my constant need to learn has contributed to their success
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Fluidity is essential, you will make mistakes, you will mess up and you will fail. But never ever give up. Apologies are important and so is love
What would you do with $20,000?I think I would use it to single upgraded it stock up things, get my kids some of the things I have had to say no to over the years.
