Being a mom is the hardest thing I’ve ever done—and the most meaningful. It’s showing up when you’re exhausted, choosing patience when it’s hard, and loving without conditions or guarantees. The most rewarding part is watching my children grow into strong, kind humans—and knowing the biggest impact I can have on the world starts at home.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that control is an illusion—and growth comes from knowing when to guide and when to let go. I’ve learned that being a good mom isn’t about having all the answers, but about showing up consistently, even on the hard days. It’s made me more patient, more self-aware, and more intentional—because my children are always watching and learning from who I choose to be.
What would you do with $20,000?’d use the $20,000 to make a meaningful impact both at home and in my community. A portion would go to local victim services and mental health support programs—causes close to my heart. I’d pay down some debt, set aside savings since I’m self-employed without a pension or benefits, and create lasting memories by taking my family on a much-needed vacation
