There are two tiny humans on this planet I created. Two beautiful and pure souls. They are the best parts of me. The best part about being a mom is just BEING A MOM. I cherish everything these days- the long nights, the messy home, toddler food… Seeing them grow every day and seeing them do new things, it makes me the proudest person on this planet. My children have also strengthened my faith in Jesus Christ. There’s no way there was not divine intervention because they are perfect to me.

Do not sweat the small things. All your kids truly want is love and your TIME. They do not want the nicest toys and chef prepared meals. They want mom sitting on the floor playing with cars. They want mom taking them to the park and playing Dinos. I am financially struggling. I went from financially secure in my marriage, to living off my teacher salary. I’ve been forced to give up the material parts of my life, and it opened a door to a better relationship with my kids and what truly matters.

The truth- I would use it towards paying bills and towards potentially buying a home for my children and I. I am going through a divorce, and it had been difficult on my children. It would go not only towards my children, but my school “kiddos” as well. I don’t just try to take care of “mine”, I try to take care of my community.
