The most rewarding thing about being a mom is watching your child grow into their own person while knowing your love, guidance, and support helped shape who they become. For many parents (especially those navigating extra challenges like ASD), the deepest reward is seeing progress that others might overlook — a new word, a brave moment, a connection, a breakthrough — and knowing how much strength it took for both of you to get there.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that love is an action, not just a feeling. It means showing up every day with patience, flexibility, and strength even when things don’t go as planned. It has taught me to slow down, celebrate small victories, and trust that progress looks different for every child. I’ve learned that being present, advocating fiercely, and loving unconditionally matters more than being perfect!
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I would create stability for my family by paying down debt and building savings, invest in our future, and support resources that help my children thrive. I would also create meaningful experiences and opportunities that strengthen our bond, allowing me to continue showing up as the strongest, most present mom I can be every day!
