What makes me a super mom is that I’m not. I’m anything but, but I try. Tears, exhausted, hungry, have to pee, I try everyday for my babies.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ashley Galavan in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is hearing that deep giggle, seeing their smile when they open their eyes in the morning, feeling them roll to you in their sleep to snuggle. It’s knowing that they know at the small ages of 1 & 2 that their mom will keep them safe, their mom will try her hardest to make them happy, their mom will try her best to give them everything.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me to be strong. To not be a people pleaser. To stand firm in what I believe is best for my children and to take conflict head on because wanting what’s best for them doesn’t always translate well to others. Fighting for what’s right is something I have struggled with for myself but I don’t think twice for them.
What would you do with $20,000?I would invest into my husband’s business Paws On Mold. POM was founded in helping families struggling with the effects of mold. Through canine mold detection homes can be safely & economically responsibly tested for mold. This business is the legacy for my children & I believe in the good will do for all.
