Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

For me, just getting to be a mom in the first place is one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. I wake up everyday and thank God for my two beautiful girls. I didn’t quite grasp what unconditional love was until I became a mom! It’s in the small moments of being present and giving them your full attention. It’s so rewarding watching them grow and knowing that you’re helping shape the person they are becoming. You get a front row seat to seeing their life unfold. I treasure every moment

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

I would have to say patience! Motherhood has taught me to slow down, take a deep breath and realize that growth takes time not just for my kids but including myself! It’s taught me how to find joy in the small moments and not take time for granted because before we know it, they’ll be all grown up. Motherhood is about showing up even when you’re tired because being present matters. In the end all kids want is for us to be there supporting them in whatever is they do. All they really need is love

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, I would love to finally be able to transform our backyard into the place we have been saving up for! A safe space where we can enjoy being outdoors as a family. I would love to be able to host gatherings and have a place to do so. My kids deserve a backyard where we can make lasting memories and laughter can be heard. My girls love being outside and to be able to create this for them would truly be a blessing. To win this money would mean the world to us and a dream come true!
