The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching two little people become themselves — their humor, their opinions, their big feelings. My son’s obsession with fire trucks, my daughter’s personality coming alive every single day. I’m tired, I’m stretched thin, and I’m completely in love with the chaos. Nothing I’ve accomplished professionally comes close to the pride I feel just watching them grow.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That you can be completely overwhelmed and completely grateful at the same time, and both are true. Motherhood taught me that ‘doing it all’ isn’t the goal; showing up is. Some nights I’m running on empty, managing evenings and bedtime solo while my husband’s on late union shifts, and the win is just getting through it with love intact. That’s enough. That’s everything.
What would you do with $20,000?Split it a few ways! Seed investment accounts for my kids, a backyard refresh so we finally have that outdoor space we so desperately need, and a once-in-a-lifetime family vacation while they’re still young enough to think I’m the coolest person alive. Oh, and something just for me! Because moms deserve that too.
