I work in a restaurant 6 days a week, I only see my son for 1hs a day and on my day off. I really need a different life style to enjoy him.
We would like to thank you for supporting Araceli Ayala in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
It’s in the small, quiet moments, when he comes to you for comfort, when he repeats something kind you taught them, when you see his confidence building little by little. It’s realizing that beyond all the effort, you’re raising someone who feels safe, loved, and capable in the world.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I learned that I can’t shape every outcome or protect my child from every challenge, but I can choose how I show up. With patience, presence, and unconditional love. It humbled me, softened me, and pushed me to grow alongside my child instead of trying to be perfect for him.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the $20,000 with intention creating both stability for my family and growth for our future. First, I’d take care of immediate needs and create a sense of security at home, because a calm, stable environment is everything for a child. Then, I’d invest in my personal and professional growth continuing to build my path in holistic wellness so I can serve others while also creating long term financial independence. A portion would also go toward meaningful experiences with my family.
